Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs is a touching tale about believing in yourself and your abilities, even when those closest to you don’t.

The main character, Flint Lockwood, is typically seen as a mad scientist by those around him, due to his wacky and useless inventions (such as his walking television).One day, however, he discovers how to turn water into food. To everyone’s surprise, his invention actually works, after it is accidentally launched into the sky and is lodged amongst the clouds so that it literally rains food.

The invention comes as great news to the townsfolk, who were previously living off sardines, but now have the choice of anything their hearts desire. But Flint soon realises that his new-found power is way above him, such as when storms come and the local school is crushed by a giant pancake. The mayor wants to steal the fame of the discovery for himself, and stands in Flint’s way when he tries to turn off the machine as things get out of hand.

Featuring the voice talents of Bill Hader (Superbad, Knocked Up), Mr. T and Neil Patrick Harris (of How I Met Your Mother fame), this is a comedy that will suit everyone’s tastes.
