Winner of 11 Oscars, including Best Picture, we bring you Peter Jackson’s final installment of his fantastic trilogy. Will it all end happily?
We pick up with Merry and Pippin feasting at Isengard after the Ents flooded it; Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli and the people of Rohan recovering from the battle of Helm’s Deep only to be thrown into an even bigger battle, and Frodo and Sam continuing to follow the treacherous Gollum to Mordor, as they journey to Mount Doom to destroy the One Ring. We meet friends and enemies both new and old, travel to new places and witness fights on an even larger scale. The special effects look phenomenal in the superb battle-scenes.
It’s definitely a fast-paced film but it doesn’t lack in emotion as you follow the characters to the end. Many have said that it’s the best of the three, and it certainly provides an excellent ending to an amazing story. This is a truly fabulous film that looks astonishing on the big screen. Can you really turn down the chance to see it in a cinema for one more time?
